February 2016 Income Report and Plans

OnlineMoneyz-February-Income-ReportHey guys!

This is my 12th income report for this blog.

Every month I publish a post like this showing:

  • how much money I made
  • what I worked on
  • and what my plans are for the future.

These reports will help me keep myself accountable, and hopefully I can help some of you figure out how you can make money online.

What I Did in February

February started out on a sad note as I removed all of the referral spam traffic in Google Analytics.

Why is that sad?

Because my traffic looks pitiful. (Scroll down to the Website Traffic section to check it out.)

I also:

Plans For March

My goal for March is $1000 in revenue.

I should be able to reach it as long as nothing major goes wrong.

I have a $100 coupon to experiment with YouTube ads, and I want to find a profitable campaign. (Doesn’t everyone? Heh…)

I slacked off a bit on my huge post, but most of the content is ready and I just need to add images.

I still want to publish a course on Udemy, but I can’t for the life of me figure out what they want from me quality wise.

I have a 1080P video with a higher bitrate than what they require, but the quality is still not up to their “standards.”

Anyway if I can figure that out, that’d be great.

I also purchased a program that lets me run unlimited webinars with unlimited attendees, so that’s pretty cool!

I just have to find the attendees. 🙂

Website Traffic

Without the referral spam my website traffic is pitiful.

However the average session duration and the bounce rate are looking very good!

January 2016 Income Report and Plans

January-Income-ReportJanuary was a great month for me.

This month I

Now that I’m done with the Amazon project I can focus on new challenges and ways of making money online.

This month I worked on:

  • My $50 to $600 Amazon Project.
  • Writing my biggest post ever. I’m at 10,000 words right now and I’m only about halfway done.
  • Starting a Private Blog Network
  • Doing experiments with YouTube and Web 2.0 ranking

Plans For February

Now that I’m finished with my Amazon challenge I have time for other experiments.

I’m currently testing different YouTube ranking strategies, churn and burn methods, and Facebook ads for email list building.

I’m also halfway done with my biggest post ever and it will go up in February.

December 2015 Income Report and Plans

DecemberI’ve been fairly productive in December, but it doesn’t show on my blog.

I need to post at least 2 posts a month that aren’t my Amazon Affiliate journey posts or income reports.

The good news is that I’m working on huge post right now that you’ll love.

The bad news is that there’s still 20-30 hours of work left until I can publish it.

Anyway, this month I worked on:

  • My $50 to $600 per month Amazon Affiliate project.
  • Adding content to my Content Samurai review site.
  • Creating an IM products review site(Think reviews of products from JVZoo and Clickbank. When I say reviews I actually mean real reviews and not BS created using the information provided to all affiliates.)
  • Improving the audio and video quality to fit uDemy’s standards so I can start working on my course.
  • Collecting the data for the huge post I’m working on.
  • I also took on a website setup project for a local business. I’ll put the income for this in the next month because that’s when they’ll pay me, but it’s still related to my online skill-set so I think it’s relevant here.

Plans For January

January is my last month for my Amazon Affiliate Project and sadly I don’t think I’ll reach my goal of $600 per month.

It might happen if one of my sites suddenly starts ranking, but I need an increase of almost $200 per month which probably isn’t going to happen.

I’m going to build a couple links to my Content Samurai site, create more content for JV Reviews, and write at least 2 posts for this blog (one of which is going to be big!)

I also have finals coming up in school, winter track, and other stuff, but I should still have more time than what I did during the first half of the year.

Let’s get some useful content up on this site! Read more

November Income Report

November 2015 Income Report and Plans

November Income ReportI was incredibly productive in November, and while the results of my work may not be visible right now, they will show soon.

I worked on:

  • Moving my website from Weebly to WordPress and changing the content.
  • My $50 to $600 per month Amazon Affiliate project.
  • A non-amazon affiliate website targeting people looking to buy Content Samurai. You can check out the site here.
  • Posts on my azongenius site. (I’m not actually a genius, I just like the name. 😉 )
  • An outline for a reddit advertising course I’m going to create for uDemy. (The outline is done. Now I have to write a script for all the videos)
  • Scripts for my Amazon Affiliate keyword research course. (I have a lot of videos to make, and it usually works better when I have some sort of script in front of me even if I don’t fully follow it.)

Moving my site took around 20 hours, but it was definitely worth it.

The site looks better and it works better for what I want.

I want to become one of the leading online money-making blogs (lofty goal I know), and to do that I had to get off Weebly.

My old site was also targeted at people looking to make money online from surveys and “beermoney” sites, and I want to focus on higher-earning money-making opportunities.

Plans For December

I will keep working on my Amazon Affiliate project and sites.

2 of my sites are starting to rank higher and should result in more sales for me.

I’ll do more A/B testing on the websites because I haven’t done that at all.

I also plan to promote my content samurai website as it can be a pretty good way of earning some extra cash if I can get it to rank in the top 3 in Google.

I’ll keep writing scripts for my Amazon Affiliate and Reddit courses, and maybe I’ll even start recording some videos for them.

April Income Report

October 2015 Income Report

I didn’t do much site-improvement in October.

If you look at my latest Amazon Affiliate post you’ll see that I didn’t do anything after October 12th.

Aren’t college applications great?

Anyway, this month I will have time to work on my Amazon sites and get ready for the holiday season.

I’m writing this on November 5th, and I just finished moving my site from Weebly to WordPress.

All of my small-earnings posts and guides will stay on the weebly site, and I’ll use this site for higher-income things like Amazon Affiliate and random Internet Marketing posts.

This month’s income was disappointing, but it should get higher because of the upcoming holidays.

Plans For November

I need to prepare my sites for the holiday season so I can maximize my income for Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and Christmas.

I’m toying with the idea of buying $10 of Facebook ads on Black Friday to get people to my site, and then use a special landing page to get them to click through to Amazon.

I’ve never used Facebook ads to drive clicks to my sites though, so this is a risky strategy.

There’s also a lot of other things I want to start getting my things into.

I want to:

  • Grow my Amazon Affiliate sites.
  • Create 2 more Amazon Affiliate sites.
  • Start some simple Amazon FBA stuff.
  • Write a book. (I have an idea for an eBook that I can self-publish on Amazon, but I don’t have time and I don’t know if now is the best time to write it.)
  • Try out penny-stock trading using the lessons of Tim Sykes.
  • Create a course on uDemy.

Obviously I can’t do all of that in the next month, (or even in the next year), so I’m going to focus on Amazon Affiliate until I finish my $50 to $600 project, and then see what I want to do next.

Income Report

  • Amazon Affiliate- $217.33 A bit disappointing, but I didn’t work on my websites at all so it makes sense…
  • Usertesting- $20 I did a couple tests at the beginning of the month, but I had no time at the end.
  • Clickworker– $5.96 No idea where this money came from… Maybe a referral?
  • G2A– $2.82 No work, passive income.
  • AdSense- $4.18 I haven’t posted any videos in 5 months and it shows…
  • Bitcoins- $8.89 This is from PokerAm and A-Ads.
  • Referral- $4 FreeEats is still getting me a small income!
  • Opinion Rewards- $3.63 A couple of quick surveys using Google’s app.
  • Total- $266.81 My lowest month since May, but I only spent 5 hours working tops so I’m okay with the outcome.

September 2015 Income Report And Future Plans

September was another great Amazon Affiliate month for me.

I was able to keep my income as high as last month while barely working on any of my sites.

This month was a dry season as I had only one post during the whole month, but I have plenty of ideas for future posts that you will find useful. The only problem is finding the time to work on them.

Plans For October

September was a very dry month for this site content-wise, so my goal for October is to publish at least 2 posts that aren’t my monthly roundup ones.

I want to break $300 in Amazon Affiliate income as that would mean that I’m exactly halfway there to my goal of $600 per month in 6 months.

I also started working on an Amazon Affiliate niche and keyword research course which will go live at the beginning of November.

Income Report

  • UserTesting- $10 I didn’t have time to do the tests because of homework and college stuff.
  • G2A- $1.57 No work, passive income.
  • AdSense- $5.26 The earnings went down because one of my YouTube accounts was closed in July and these are the August earnings.
  • Amazon- $285.92 The earnings stayed at the same level as last month, but there were no random large purchases. If there were big purchases not related to my sites I would’ve broken $300 easily.
  • Bitcoins- $6.13 This is from PokerAm and A-Ads.
  • Referral- $6 FreeEats is still getting me a small income!
  • Opinion Rewards- $2.85 A couple of quick surveys using Google’s app.
  • BlueHost-$65 My first referral payment from BlueHost. If I get 4 signups per month that would basically double my income. Now I understand why Pat Flynn makes so much money from their referral program!
  • Total- $382.73 Not as much as last month, but over 90% of this income was passive so I can’t complain!
